Meeting with the Minister of Macedonia-Thrace, Mr. Stavros Kalafatis had today Mr. Fotiou Fotis, Managing Director of STANCOLAC SA and Chatzikostas Dimitris, Export Manager and member of the company’s Board of Directors.
The main topic of discussion with the Minister was the issues and problems that concern the industry regarding the activities in the Covid era, while at the same time they discussed issues related to the measures and policies that will be developed by the Ministry and the state as a whole. in order to support local industries and businesses.
As Mr. Fotiou stated: ” During the meeting we discussed the latest developments on issues related to the industry and stressed the need to create a fertile ground for investment, which will bring prospects for the development of the local economy, through public-private partnership. .I would like to express my gratitude to the Minister for his warm response as well as my satisfaction for this meeting regarding the practical support and assistance of the state in matters concerning entrepreneurship and the problems we faced during this difficult and unprecedented health crisis “.
Mr. Hatzikostas raised issues related to export processes with emphasis on the development orientation of companies and the need to support extroversion with the assistance of the state. He characteristically stressed: ” There was a constructive meeting with the Minister of Macedonia-Thrace in an excellent atmosphere. We set key priorities for the Minister regarding the companies in the sector and a consensus was found on most issues. “We are leaving this meeting with very positive feelings, because we believe that the reforms that have begun are in a very good direction.”
Mr. Kalafatis stated his support for all development programs that take entrepreneurship to the next level, and pointed out that the Ministry will support all the efforts made towards this purpose.
